If you are looking for a fun reliable classic car with a WOW factor that will set you apart on the road, then a Nissan Figaro could be just what you are looking for! With a 1 litre turbo engine you are not exactly going to be leaving people behind at the lights, but it is nippy enough to zip around town and it even holds it's own on the motorway! Originally a concept car, Nissan Japan made 20 000 in the years 1990 and 1991, as part of its Pike Range (this included the Pao and the Escargo). The little Figaro proved to be so popular that Nissan had to introduce a system whereby prospective purchasers had to actually win a lottery ticket in order to buy one! Four colours were available; lavender grey, baby blue, caramel and of course the mint green. Today there are a few around that have been custom sprayed into a few other rare colours including bright pink and even orange! They come complete with airconditioning, electric windows, CD player / radio, leather interior and superb retro styling. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning this little car (who I affectionately call Mr Miyagi) and the only reason he is for sale is because I am about to start a new job which will require me to travel a greater distance, and I am reluctant to put the miles on him. He has had a full NIssan service history since his arrival in England in 2002, a new cambelt fitted, as well as four new tyres, and is regularly wax oiled to prevent rust. He comes with his original CD player / radio which has been reconditioned and the original speakers have been replaced with 6 x 4's to give superior in car entertainment! He has been lovingly looked after and polished all his life and is looking for someone who can continue to keep him in the way he has become accustomed!
